Beth Rayfield, PhD

Beth Rayfield, PhD, is the Director of Institutional Advancement at Community Change in Washington, DC. Beth’s work on building a culture of philanthropy is featured in Fundraising Bright Spots (2016), a national research project conducted by CompassPoint and in the Evelyn and Walter Haas Jr. Fund Reset Fundraising Project. She is a former labor organizer and was the first President of UAW 2865, an 11,000 member statewide union of academic employees at the University of California. Her personal story of activism is featured in The Women, Politics and Activism Since Suffrage Oral History Project housed at California State University, Fullerton.
